Over the hill. All soy. Not sure how it was stored.

Yellow straw; nose of white flowers, slight candy, slight honey, almond skin, Italian, a freshness that said cooler climate; crisp clean, a bit of oiliness, apple, pear; nailed it!

See through crimson core with orangey rim, some age; dark cherry, dried fruit, some stank, reticent, raspberry; rose, cherry, cedar, good subtle intensity that should put on some weight with more bottle age; very good.

Dark core with light extraction and lighter rim; CdP nose of dull raspberry, secondary nuance, funk, leather, fuller, fig, good ripeness; tart red fruit on the palate, berries, garrigue, fresher on the palate, higher alcohol, traditional, I like the balance of sweet and tart fruit, medium brightness, Burgundian Grenache; very good; pegged this as 2007 so this drank very young.

Pale dull crimson with copper rim; cinnamon, high toned, oak nail polish still there, fresh red fruit, lighter cherry and strawberry; lighter bodied but focused, Burgundian, elegant, long finish, good acid and round tannin; liked this just a touch more than the '04 Camp Gros this evening.

Dark core almost to lighter crimson rim; tobacco, dark red fruit, currant, some integrated herbaceous notes, Italian, ripe, almost fig, some nuttiness; higher alcohol, smooth texture, sandalwood, menthol, a little full throttle, cinnamon on the finish; very good.

See through red with copper rim; rose, light cherry, strawberry, orange oil; flavor echoes, slight bitter finish, tannins are there but they're soft; delicious; didn't have the impact of previous bottles.

Dark core with reddish purple rim; dark brambly fruit, fierce, Brett, violets, game, leather, cement, smoked meat, herbs de Provence, almost lavender; darker fruit, pepper, fig, gingerbread, baby Aspirin bitter finish, sweet and sweat; nailed it!

Dark core with thin reddish rim; red fruit, stone powdered dust, Robitussin, raspberry liqueur, cherry, cranberry; dark, mesquite, charry, brooding, ash, grainy tannin, tart and sour red and dark fruit on the finish; not the most elegant CdP but I like its potential; I would say this almost requires 2 years at least; 90+.

Prematurely aged. Funny because the '04 was gorgeous.

Dark core with medium+ extraction, crimson core; sweaty red sour fruit, plush texture, sour cherry, granite, berry, smoked meat, some resolved oak, Burgundian; in a very good place for drinking now; nailed it!

At the end of a long tasting this was opened in bad judgment; pop and pour at room temp which made this a little shut down and less expressive than previous bottles; we were still able to polish it off fairly easy.

Some great wines this evening. The '04 Marcoux, '07 Martinenga, Moss Wood, and Jasmin were my favorites.
I was also on fire calling 3 wines producer, vintage, and bottling.

2008 Maison Sichel Bordeaux Sirius 89 Points
France, Bordeaux
Tobacco, funk, decomposing vegetation, currant, iron, lots of iodine which led me to South Africa as this was almost "too Bordeaux"; great QPR.

Sweet dark raspberry, low tannin, very bright acid, higher alcohol; swore this was Spanish Garnacha; 88-89.
