Pear and peach on the nose. Vibrancy has died down since the last time I tried it and the wine suffers a little bit as a result. Has good length and minerality but doesn't have the same appeal - may just be dormant for now.
Beautiful nose - floral, spice, mandarin, pear and nectarine. The palate is immensely pure fruited with fantastic acidity and sweetness that is nigh on perfect. Long and brilliant, I keep going back and thinking about this wine some time after tasting, so it must have made quite the impression on me! Drinking well now but with a whole lot of upside for the future.
Purple coloured. Floral, stalky, with tar and licorice. Plenty of fine tannin asserts itself on the palate, there is light sweet fruit and good potential to improve. Divided the table somewhat but I certainly liked it.
Meaty, with cedar from the oak then cherries and spice. Fine tannins with not a lot of fruit impact but there is good acidity that I think would serve it well with age. Needs more time.
Coffee, quince, floral and orange rind aromas. Palate has impressive length, the sugar sweetness takes and back seat to the textured and layered fruit. Unique and undoubtedly delicious.
