All I can say is wow. The aromas were a great mixture of forest floor, cherry, plum, and cigar box. The palate was much like the nose. The tannins were firm and the finish nice and long.
I loved the barnyard smells on this one. It also had some pear, apple and floral notes. It was a little sweet for my taste, but the barnyard, apple and pear mixture was really appealing. It finished good and had nice acidity.
This wine could have scored a little higher if the finish would have been better. The fruit aromas were very good. Apricot, pear, and apple that was combined with nice floral notes and spice. The acidity was good and the pear, apple, and floral tastes were good, as well.
This one started out good. The nose had good fruit. Raspberry, cherry, and plum, plus a bit of cedar. The palate is where it fell aprt. The balance was horrible. Too much acid that killed the raspberry and plum fruit. In addition, it had way too much cedar upfront. The finish was short as well.
