Darker fruit too on the nose: very clean and ripe blackberries, with elderflowers, leather (say other tasters, and indeed it is there as it warms up in the glass), and a smoky note. On the palate more serious than the previous one, deeper tones, fuller and well balanced. High intensity from start to finish. At the end of the finish some bitterness. Then followed over three days (non-blind) and the aromatic was always different from the Burgundies, with that beautiful blackberry note. And the juicy, intense palate stayed there. The tannins then became more evident and were likely responsible for the bitterness on the finish. ***

Tasted blind against three others. Light ruby red. Fresh red berries, hay, some bread too. Fine, somewhat restrained. As it warms up in the glass tobacco notes emerge. Quite nervous on the palate, but it has some body too - citrus note on the finish. It gets rounder, and more pleasant as it increases the temperature by a few degrees. All in all the lighter of the four. **

Tasted blind against other three. Medium-light garnet, with orange rims. Spicy nose, soy, and after a while a sweet cinnamon note (on day two, I thought that some sweetness from the oak showed up). The fuller and intenser and the most charming one on the palate. Lively, fine, gay. It finishes on a slight saline note. On day two and three I start noticing the tannins. Quite lovely. ***(*)
Tasted blind against three others. Medium-light garnet red. Red berries, with a twist I can't describe in words. But fine, elegant, somewhat restrained. Good body, intensity and liveliness. Very good, savory. Strong tannins, the most tannic of the lot. In the following three days it developed and went towards tobacco in its aromatic, perhaps with some other spices too. On the palate it was juicy ans austere at the same time, and the tannins never really mellowed. Wait a few more years before opening the next. ***
Drunk with dessert at a dinner with friends. No TN. A very light fizz at the beginning is somewhat surprising. Very sweet but not at all cloying. Good complexity. All in all: delicious! Too bad this was my only bottle, as I would really love to see how this evolves with some further aging.
