A 10 ha property, planted with Merlot (70%), Cabernet-Sauvignon (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Usually of middling quality, it has made the most of the rich offerings of the 2009 vintage. A medium-sized wine, well-balanced, with an attractive stuffing of ripe fruit (black cherry), a creamy texture, lovely freshness and minerality, with a pleasing hint of the farmyard.
Deep colour; rich but stylish, well-balanced, glossy but not flashy, nothing out of place, blueberries and mulberries, appealing minerality, creamy, perfectly integrated oak; good length. Drinking well in youth, it should last another 5 years.
