This meeting was planned two months in advance, however Eli couldn't show due to his son hospitalisation, while Yigal forgot about the event, or wasn't informed about it...
So we were not numerous: Efrat & Yair, Dina & Mati, Ety & Hanan, Adina, Orna & Myself.

All wines were very good, with the 2004 Val Sotillo GR above all others... !

2004 Celler Vall Llach Priorat Vall Llach 92 Points

one of the great Priorats on its own, especially among those for less than €50.
60% Carinyena (Carignan), 20% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon (5% others) - while usually Grenach is dominant among Priorat wines.
palate is thick, tarry, perfumed, ample blackberries, nutmeg, liquorice and chocolate , with power, depth, memorable sensual aroma, round present tannins, rich powerful sweet fruit, great complexity.
long minty-chocolatey and mineral finish.
can last another 20 years.
