  • NV André Clouet Champagne Silver Brut Nature 91 Points

    France, Champagne

Really well made, very pure and precise, speaking eloquently of its origins, dry but not in the least austere, wonderful fruit of red apple, lovely weight and intensity; good length.

  • 2013 Gaia Assyrtiko Wild Ferment 90 Points

    Greece, Aegean, Cyclades, Santorini

Crisp, clean, mineral, extremely young but not unsettled, taut, well-oaked, lovely weight and stuffing, lovely balance and citrus fruit; good length. I could well imagine taking this for a Puligny-Montrachet if tasting blind....

  • 2012 Paul et Marie Jacqueson Rully 1er Cru Les Cloux 90 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Rully 1er Cru

Very young but already quite delicious, clean and transparent, bright (black) cherry fruit, oak adds a lovely warmth, light weight but no lack of intensity, hint of cream, mineral, well-balanced, touch of earth, good length. Very attractive Rully.
