• 2009 Domaine Ostertag Riesling Muenchberg 90 Points

  France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru

  Clear med lemon color.
  The nose is clean, med intensity but offering real complexity, filled with ripe fruits like apricot and peach, melon, tin pineapple, lingers on and reveals layers after layers in the glass, quince syrup, youthful.
  The wine feels off-dry, full body, med+ intensity and acidity, med alcohol (14%), ripe stone fruit, apricot and peach, quince and pineapple, balanced with lime sweetness, focused and complex, med/med+ finish.
  Outstanding quality, premium price, drinking now but can hold

• 2008 Domaine Ostertag Riesling Heissenberg 89 Points

  France, Alsace

  Clear pale lemon color.
  Clean med+ intensity, lime juice, citrus and lemon, wax notes, steely, ripe pineapple, leafy, light biscuit notes in the notes, youthful to developing.
  The wine is dry/offdry, med+ body and intensity, med alcohol (13.50%), med+ acidity, more focused than the Vignoble d'E, lime based with pineapple, ripe peach with steely balance, feels fresh in the mouth, apricot syrup in the med/med+ finish.
  Very good quality, premium price, drinking now but can hold.

• 2011 Domaine Ostertag Riesling Vignoble d'E 87 Points

  France, Alsace

  Clear medium intensity in the nose with ripe fruit character of apricot and peach, red apple, blossom, lime juice with lemon leaves, tin pineapple, developing.
  Off dry, medium+ body and acidity, med intensity and alcohol (13%), ripe peach and pineapple, lime and steely, balanced with dough notes in the med+ finish.
  Very good quality, high price, drinking now but can hold
