  • 2012 Rivers-Marie Chardonnay B. Thieriot Vineyard 92 Points

    USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast

    Pale straw yellow color with aromas of coconut, lemon oil, orchard fruit and minerals. On the palate, there's a nice toast along with lemon, grapefruit, pear and coconut flavors. There's wonderful balancing acidity. Lingering finish with apple and mineral tones. Reminds me a bit of a Peter Michael Chard. Drink from 2016+. 92-93+ pts.

  • 2012 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Occidental Ridge Vineyard 92 Points

    USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast

    Opens with notes of clay, nutmeg and red cherry fruit. The palate has a florally edge adding to the cherry and cola flavors. The fruit lingers on the finish with a soft spice note as well. 92+ pts.

  • 2012 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Gioia Vineyard 92 Points

    USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast

    A very pretty wine with notes of cherries, violets and cinnamon. The palate is elegant and nicely balanced with lovely fruit and acid. Cherry and spice qualities with a bit of cranberry on the lingering finish. 92-93 pts.

  • 2012 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Summa Vineyard 90 Points

    USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast

    Notes of cherries, cola and brown sugar with a subtle cranberry note on the back end. There's a lot of very pretty red fruit fruit on the palate, primarily cherry, along with nutmeg and spices with a nice finish. There's good underlying acidity here as well. A slight sour quality to the red fruit lingering on the finish, but overall juicy and bright. 90-91 pts.

  • 2010 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Gioia Vineyard 92 Points

    USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast

    Cherry, lavender, and perfumed floral qualities. The palate follows the bouquet featuring perfumed cherry and berry fruit, white currants and a hint of spice. 92-93 pts.
