Flight 1 (1 Note)

  • 1999 François Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Chapelot 94 Points

France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru

Chapelot is a subsection of 0.3Ha within the Montée de Tonnerre premier cru. It’s very rich and intense, with some exotic fruit and spicy charateristics, creamy, buttery and very long. Wow, really drinking great right now!

  • 2005 Coche-Dury Monthélie 90 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Monthélie

A pure and giving, fruit-forward wine. It’s a wine that is fresh and juicy, with plush raspberry and redcurrant flavours. There is a lifted, refreshing character, but it lacks the depth and complexity. But very open, very beguiling and delicious !
