  Labelled with a best before September 2011 consume.
  Prevalent aroma of varnish over a sweet floor.
  Loosing its sharped character, showing something more honeyed, absurdly sweet for a manzanilla like this.
  Curiosity killed the cat...
  
  Marcaba un consumo preferente para antes septiembre 2011
  El aroma a barnices prevalece sobre un fondo dulce.
  En lugar de aumentar su perfil afilado, muestra una personalidad más abocada, absurdamente dulce para una manzanilla.
  Una curiosidad.

• NV Emilio Hidalgo Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Oloroso Seco "Villapanés"

  Versatility you can't deny but a gelid personality with a real soul, a perfection with no transmission to the nose.
  More savoury on the palate, long with a butter, firm aftertaste.
  WOTN for many.
  
  Sin negar la versatilidad de este Oloroso, siempre he encontrado que tiene la frialdad de una personalidad carente de alma, perfección que no trasmite en nariz.
  Más que sabroso en boca, largo y con un postgusto firme, amargo.
  El vino de la noche para muchos.

• 2009 Emilio Rojo Ribeiro

  Spain, Galicia, Ribeiro

  No more aromas of white flowers and acid lemons, earning complexity on the nose with elegant notes of orange peel and mature white fruits.
  Also some saline hints were founded.
  On the palate runs perfectly well with depth yet without that grip, that punch it had when was younger.
  My natural WOTN.
  
  Abandonados los aromas a flores blancas y a limones, gana complejidad en nariz con elegantes matices a piel de naranja y a fruta blanca madura.
  También aporta sutiles notas salinas.
  En boca tiene recorrido y profundidad pero sin el agarre, sin el golpe de un Ribeiro joven.
  En mi modesta opinión y con cinco años, está botella está en lo mejor.
  Mi vino de la cena.
  Maridó un carpaccio de langostino con flor de calabacín en tempura, rúcula y gajo de naranja.

• 2013 Bodegas Ponce Manchuela Buena Pinta

  Tasted blind.
  Only guessed Grenache part.
  Quite unique because that only one varietal.
  Aromatic with a fresh touch and a watery texture, very easy drink.
  Another more curiosity that when you don't know it, makes crazy the more reputed noses.
  
  Probada a ciegas.
  Solamente pude acertar que llevaba garnacha tintorera.
  Bastante original por su variedad única. Aromática con un toque fresco y un trago acuoso, muy fácil en boca.
  Otra curiosidad que no proporciona placer pero que sin conocerla vuelve locas a las narices más reputadas.
  Maridando una crema de alubias con mejillones y almejas.

• 2007 Celler Burgos-Porta Priorat Mas Sinén Negre

  Tasted blind.
  Didn't show what we can consider a typical Priorat nose.
  Few chalk, just a power detected on the palate made for grapes if Rhone.
  For a seven years old bottle, aromas were elusive, shy and quite unpolished.
  More than powerful, palate's performance was harsh and completely tannic. A great grip that doesn't help if you want one more glass.
  
  Probada a ciegas.
  No presentó lo que podríamos decir una nariz típica. Poca pizarra y sólo se detectó la potencia en boca y los varietales del Ródano.
  Para tener siete años, la botella mostraba una nariz tímida, esquiva y tosca.
  En boca, además de la potencia, era áspera y totalmente tánica. Un gran agarre en la garganta que no facilita que te apetezca otra copa más.
  Maridó unos callos a la italiana.

• 1994 C.V.N.E. (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España) Rioja Real de Asúa Reserva

  As in many prior occasions with Rioja, the last glass was the better one.
  However, nose was very stingy what was good for a more gentle and opulent palate.
  Texture savoury and fine for second row wine with twenty years on.
  
  Como en tantas ocasiones con botellas de Rioja, la última copa fue la mejor.
  No obstante, la nariz fue muy tacaña lo que favoreció una boca mucho más amable y opulenta.
  Sabrosa y afinada textura para un vino de segunda fila con veinte años.
  Acompaño un rissoto con pichón.

• 2012 Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional Harvest

  No idea what we had in front.
  Unique smelling like drainpipe and lemonade made from over mature lemons. Disgusting on the palate too.
  You love it or hate it. There wasn't a wide quorum.
  
  Probada a ciegas.
  Ni por aproximación nos acercamos.
  Totalmente única con olores a desagüe y a limonada elaborada con limones pasados. En momentos desagradable también en boca.
  Se ama o se odia. No tuvo mucha aceptación entre los comensales.

• NV Emilio Lustau Pedro Ximénez Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Single Cask

  For all of those, as @winematcher, thinking the place for a PX is topping a vanilla ice cream, there are bottle like this one.
  Pure finesse on the nose full if those typical aromas of raisins and dried figs but those which are distinguished.
  A velvety texture gives a warm welcome on the palate with a subtle touch yet also with a serious punch and a very good length which doesn't tire you out at all.
  To be remembered.
  
  Para aquellos que como Fionna Beckett piensan que el lugar de un PX es coronar un helado de mantecado, hay botellas de postre elegantes como esta.
  Pura finura en nariz con los típicos aromas a pasas e higos secos pero desde un punto de vista distinguido.
  En boca te recibe una textura aterciopelada de tacto sutilmente suave pero con un golpe contundente de paso y un trago muy largo que no cansa.
  Para recordar.

Superb supper. Nello is frighting hard got his Michelin star ;-)
Missing Ignacio cause he had to bring champagne...
Oloroso was the people's choice but the elegant Emilio Rojo was made for me.
