A very ambitious, modern and extracted wine, big and black, concentrated, rich, fiercely tannic but with the weight and flesh to back it up, amarena cherries, spice and tar, ripe acidity, very energetic and youthful for age, very structured, intense, flavoursome; very good length. Not my style at all but the quality is evident. The fruit may even outlive the tannins...
