35-65 yo vines, old wood. Nose is pretty, some copper and honey. Palate shows nice oak, cool water character, supple; no greenies!

Nose is pretty, palate has a rather dilute attack which as far as I can gather is typical to many Macon whites. Gains acid and honey with accumulation. Lovely residuals if a bit simple.

Nose has a tire/geranium aroma. Palate is better, watery attack but good finish--this wine made the best showing in a terrible day for Guillot Broux. Behind some of the Didier Montchovet wines, these were some of the worst wines tasted in the Grand Jours; surprising as I recall enjoying their Macon many years ago.

Was called "Viré Clessé Bongran" in the list. Far less metallic vs a 1/2 bottle tasted the other night at a Beaune restaurant. Palate is watery, roundness and finishes with a geranium-inflected metal.

Wine is actually "Aux Serpentieres", but whatevs. Image is clear. Nose is like a sweet bowling alley (strangest descriptor I've come up with in months). Palate has tire, acid, somewhat shrill acid but still somehow elegant? Now that's a unique wine.
