The most recent release, with 2004 vintage as the base, disgorged in 2011. Very rich with lots of orchard fruit, even a slightly buttery hint. Very large scaled fruit throughout with more of the Krug toasty, brioche coming through on long finish. I like this blend more than most.
Comes across as somewhat fat and forward for a Hune, not exactly consistent with what I recall from prior tastings, not quite showing the degree of minerality. Lots of apple and pear with moderate intensity and length. A slightly imperfect bottle?

Much better than what I recall from immediately after release. Lemon peel, lime, some sweet spice. Good balance with impressive minerality and energy, faint sweetness doesn't interfere with wonderful savory character.

Worked very well with a great course of sweet and savory duck. Lots of lush black and blue fruit with sweet spice. Less interesting right now on its own, I think this needs another 5-10 years to shed some baby fat.
