Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • NV Charlot Père et Fils Champagne Cuvée Spéciale Zéro Dosage 89 Points

    France, Champagne

100% Pinot Meunier, 100% malo. Spices and red apple, soft but fresh, rounded but appetising, nice intensity and length.

  • 2011 Yvon Métras Fleurie 91 Points

    France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Fleurie

Very pure and natural style on the nose, green apple, red cherry, white peach, herbs, flowers, good depth; clean and refreshing palate, slender and a bit tight but energetic, tannins are ripe, silky texture, lovely flavours; good length. Further proof that Beaujolais is one of the few regions where natural wine actually does work.

  • 2002 Domaine Tempier Bandol Cuvée Spéciale La Migoua 90 Points

    France, Provence, Bandol

Relatively light and transparent style, mature aromas, cedary and deep; lovely balance and flavours, dry but juicy, good tannic grip, good length. Stylish, claret-like but with slightly warmer fruit.
