2004 Trimbach Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile

Medium yellow. Classic tea and stone fruit aromas. Not a big Frederic Emile but some oiliness. Dry but not austere at this point due to moderate acidity. Approaching maturity at 10 years of age (for comparison, farther along than the 2001 is even now).

Medium yellow. Some secondary floral perfume and brothiness. Medium weight, subtle citrus flavors. Wonderful balance, freshness, and delicacy. This is at a great place now.

Yellow. Fresh aromas of pear. Medium weight, off dry pear and apple fruit. Very good, but not as much grip and terroir as the best vintages of Clos du Bourg can have.
