Darker core, semi-translucent with rusty rim; soy, charcoal, fennel, brown sugar, medicinal red fruit; soft, bread dough, burnt sugar, cherry, orange oil, leather, good tannin wrap; turns out the bottle had been open over a day though it did not taste oxidized but more like it was cooked.
Darker core with bricking; vanilla, olive, char, brine, red fruit, cedar, black pepper; lots of red fruit, vanilla, slight sandalwood, fresh acid, bright, soft tannin, sweet wood, good texture aged; probably towards the end of its best drinking window; very different from the much younger St. Cosme Crozes from earlier in the tasting.

Semi-translucent, very dull dark crimson core with orange rim, well aged; balsamic, raisin, medicinal red cherry, autumnal; seemingly sweet initially but nice dryness complimented with a medicinal note, leather, fig, prune, chewing tobacco, some fruit, overall leaner than most Amarone; a well stored bottle that is at or just past peak.
Very dark core with thin garnet rim; red flower, earth, cigar, red currant, gravel, green pepper, cherry, fruitcake; dense and deep, lower acid, rich, cigar, briary tannin; drinkable now; good.
Very dark core with thin garnet rim; vanilla, hint of acetaldehyde, woody, deep, brooding, berry, Bordeaux-esque in a way; lead pencil, structured, alcoholic heat, spicy; still needs time; called '06 Pintia.
Dark core with garnet rim, not much color change; holly bush, iodine, green pepper, cassis; fresh berry, cassis, complex, blue cheese, spicy, briary; very exaggerated Bordeaux character that is almost like South Africa- called Chasse-Spleen (3 miles away).

Tawny with greenish yellow rim; white raisin, fig, walnut; syrupy, sweet, super viscous, some alcohol, nutty, white raisins, fig; good but nowhere near 100pts; really need the proper food with this.
