From Vireulls and Moulin Judas. Lovely nose, very classic aromatic profile, immediately recognisable as Meursault; ripe and fullish palate, perfectly judged oak, wonderfully attractive already; fine balance, acidity and length.
Really tight and mineral, all the components seem to be there, but there is also a disconcerting dryness to the tannins. Score gives the benefit of the doubt.

Complex nose of smoked tea, beef stock and ripe red fruit; drier and more tannic than the Clos des Cistes, lacks both its charm and its class. Good wine none the less.
Nice to see the stylistic consistency with the Ravera 2010 and the Serralunga 2010. This has similar power to the Ravera, but in a wonderfully silky and charming setting that buffers the tannins effortlessly, lovely length.
A wine made from the indigenous Pascale grape (100%). Expressive strawberry nose, silky and fresh, strawberry liqueur on the palate, not complex but certainly attractive.
Made from 80 year old Cannonau, sports a whopping 17% ABV! Rich and satiny, full but carries its alcohol beautifully, sunny fruit but not stewed, long finish with some heat.
No oak (Sara Dionisio and I agreed that Encruzado does not take large doses of oak very well), flowers and citrus, soft but refreshing, elegant and fine.
A field blend of 30 varieties, 85 year old vines, single vineyard. No oak. Silky and complex, forward and sunny but wonderfully fresh, very attractive bright and sweet fruit, finely grained tannins, very individual profile (in fact it had some difficulty getting the agrément - or whatever that's called in Portuguese).
A blend with 60% Touriga Nacional, 50% matured in older wood. Velvety, sunny, ripe and rounded but fresh and elegant, with finely grained tannins, a lovely hint of spice and very good length.
