Nicely mature with good concentration for 1er. Clearly rich and ripe with lemon and apple, toasted walnut and very nicely evolved overall character. Stayed powerful and consistent for the 60-90 minutes open.

From magnum. Peach and nectarine aromas with subtle spice Bolder cross-section of flavors include ripe apple as well, all helped with lots of acidity and minerality. Very good balance. No surprise, this was better and fuller 30 minutes after opened vs when initially popped-and-poured.

Floral start with lemon curd and ripe apple, some background sweet spice. slightly less opulent than a bottle of P Colin's 2010 Vergers from a few days ago, but seemingly better structure for better longevity.
Came across as slightly more Pinot driven to me (vs Chardonnay), even though fruit profile was mostly of orchard fruit. Clean and linear styled with moderate length and intensity. Good.
Others liked this a lot, but I found it accentuated Sauv Blanc's grassy character to an extreme and I didn't really enjoy its almost slightly sweet finish.

At an excellent point in its evolutionary development. Mature, ripe black fruit with lots of earthy elements. Moderate spice. Very good acidity and tannins give this structure and balance while showing lots of nuance.
This wine is very easy to enjoy. Lots of red and black cherry, some red plum with lots of dark chocolate and cloves. Fruit is clearly ripe but everything comes together for excellent balance, length and persistence. Very large-scaled but everything is in harmony.
Lots of rich and dense dried apricot with honey. Forward and powerful start, moderate length and finesse once past the first 10 seconds. I certainly enjoyed this a great deal, but probably would have enjoyed it more if it was not served alongside the 2001 vintage.
Creme brulee with dried stone fruit aromas and flavors. Lots of botrytis, good amount of acidity combine to provide lots of texture and nuance. Very pleasurable today, but with lots of upside going forward.

2013 Bevan Cellars Sauvignon Blanc Kick Ranch
