decanted for 2hrs. poised, elegant and balanced. didnt reach the heights of other vintages in terms of complexity. had a bit of napa feel to it. could have been a harlan!

decanted for 2hrs. incredible aromas right from the bat. exotic mix of cherry, kirsch, coconut, sweet candies. sexier and more youthful than i can remember. kicked myself for not identifying it. thought it was a celestins instead.

notes of graphite, lead pencil and mild tobacco. a little short and lean on the finish.

popped and poured. sweeter and more rounded, almost like an old pomerol. drinks well.
