Colour: Dark ruby colour. Nose: Dark cherry, blackberry, a bit of espresso, licorice, herbs and a slightly graphite component. Seems a bit tight and holding back some reserves. Palate: Good balance between the alcohol, acidity and the fruit. Bit tannic on the end, good concentration, think this will improve with 3-5 years more aging.
Colour: Nearly transparent, light strawberry red. Nose: On the red fruit side, a bit of strawberry & red currant come to mind alongside some tobacco, dried meat & earthy components. Palate: A bit of sweetness on the first sip, lack of tension & crispness on the mid-palate, a VERY strong earthy component on the back end. Drink up now.
Colour: Very light & youthful in colour. Nose: Very tropic aromas like mango, papaya, lush fresh pineapple mixed with a slightly mineral component. Very open & typical Riesling nose. Palate: I love all the Auslesen & Spätlesen because they are all so fucking drinkable. I miss the acidity quite a bit here, but nevertheless good balance. The fruit is again more to the fore than the minerality. Lovley to drink now but I guess this can go a very long way from here.

I was very excited about this bottle of wine, unfortunately it was corked. Hope to get another one, but very hard to find stuff.
