Semi-translucent dark core ruby core with lighter rim; candy, watermelon, darker profile, seems to be lighter bodied; sweet palate, darker berry, residual?, medicinal, granite, stems, dry finish; makes more sense once revealed.
Dark core with bright purple rim; sulfur, black pepper, violet, perfumed though slightly reductive; texture seems a little light for N. Rhone, spicy, purple fruit, blackberry, huckleberry, a little animal, a thread of N. Rhone quality but warm, softer tannin though not plush; lighter and different from previous bottles.
Dark core chocolate rim dull garnet; sweet bakers chocolate, currant, plum, green pepper, sweet nose, hint of vanilla, I could smell this all day, hint of raspberry, coffee; soft sexy texture, plush, some tannin on the finish.
Dark chocolaty core with large bricking; ashtray, green pepper, red currant, mineral, cigar, tons of spice, black pepper, coriander; smooth palate, intense red currant, good fruit, good acid, stone, cedar on the finish; delicious, really over performed (for my expectations).
