Lovely Chardonnay, clean and cool, with floral notes, good weight of fruit and a nice hint of oak, good length. Good balance and typicity. Jolly well done.
Ripe fruit on the nose, bright and sweet red cherries, nice hints of spice and oaky warmth; the palate is satiny, slightly pruney but not porty in spite of a hint of cocoa, with soft acidity and ripe tannins, lovely balance, not too big (13.5% ABV) or concentrated; good length without too much heat. Attractive, belies its age.
Delicious as always, identical to my previous notes. A heady but very elegant symphony of chalk, oak, flowers and fresh fruit, deep and energetic, steely but rounded (a subtle hint of caramel), with excellent length. Great value.
