Bright yellow; no oak, faint, quince, kumquat, bitter pith; sour yellow and orange fruit, softer acid, medium to medium plus body, fresh, crisp; reminded me of South African Chenin; very interesting.
Dark core with copper rust rim, some age; leather, cherry, roses, sweet baking spices, some oak, licorice, sandalwood; rich red fruit, menthol, cinnamon, strong tannin in back but pleasant, sandalwood; tasty.
Opaque core with thin bright reddish purple rim; reductive, animal, plastic, dark cherry and raspberry, fresh, slight sweet, autumnal, spice, hint of VA, raspberry, spicy, dried fruit; very good.
Black core with thin dull garnet rim; tar, very dark fruit, some vanilla, coffee, blackberry; juicy palate, dark , slight leather, ripe, softer tannin.
Dark core with maroon rim; raspberry, blackberry, violets, purple, sweet fruit, smoke; blackerry, dark raspberry, some schist, plum, soft tannin, served cooler; good.
Dark core with bright purple rim; after 90 min decant nose showed vanilla, tar, dark fruit, plum, wild berry, smoked meat, and black pepper; tannins softened a bit, good acidity makes this very drinkable; very good.
