Shellac nose and a sweetness on the palate that is a little too sweet. Almost disconcerting. (Andrew Adams)
Full bodied and smooth. Rich and spicy. Better than I would have expected. This won WOTN (EWSB)

This seems the oldest wine of the night. The nose is a little off and barnyard with a pruney belly. Tannins 5/10 (Gary Gondelman)
Musky. Tannins 5/10 (Bernd Andreas)
Tannins 7/10 (Scott Greenberg)
A hint of mint in the finsih. Dark red and clearly not French. Too forward and ripe for French. (William Knight)
Jammy and very young new world style. Tannins 7/10. Great without food for cheese and biscuits. (Jim Cahill)
Not as luxurious as normal tonight. Maybe just me or it might be tooo cold. The nose appeared muted with the normal floral perfume hiding in the recesses. Moderately dark yellow
