This wine just keeps getting better. Lots of petrol to start with background floral notes, lots of orchard fruit aromas and some faint tropical hints. Huge, long, powerful. Great now, probably better in another decade.

Lots of red berry aromas and flavors with great spice. Very good minerality, mouthfeel and textures for its level. Slightly mature for a wine this young. There seems to be a problem with many H-N 2010 corks, and this bottle's cork showed more liquid along the edge than I'd expect for a wine this young. I will drink my bottles early.
An inconsistent wine, this is the best bottle I've had in many years. Mature red cherry, strawberry and raspberry with lots of sweet brown spice. Very enticing.

2001 Trimbach Riesling Clos Ste. Hune 95 Points
