A hint of brioche on the nose, which also has some minerality a good amount of citrus/sour apple, and some hints of flowers. On the palate, good mousse, more citrus and good acidity with a fairly long finish.
Some jasmine and orange blossom and other sweet flowers on the nose. Also a hint of wet stone. Great acidity and some wet stone on the palate as well. Nice mouth feel with some body and a good finish.
Pale straw in color with some candied citrus esp. kumquat on the nose. Some RS and a hint of chalk/pepper on the palate. Fairly full bodied with more pepper on the finish. Interesting nose, everything worked together, but just...I could see this pairing really well with something like cajun spiced fish.

Seemed slightly closed on the nose at first. With some swirling there was a fair amount of citrus and wet stone. A bit oily on the palate, which leans acidic, a tart, slightly sour finish. I didn't really get this wine.
Very interesting nose with soft flowers, citrus, maybe something like oak spice and some minerality. I didn't really get the smells of the sea that someone else wrote about. I thought this was really interesting and had the acidity to age really well. More aromatic nose than the lowest level Baumard Savennierres, but perhaps less minerality on the palate.
Far and away my favorite wine of the tasting. Just a spectacular, complex nose of jasmine and acacia blossom, lots of citrus and perhaps some of those slightly ``oxidized" notes that appear in Chenin. As this stayed open, I got some chalk/sea salt notes and also a hint of those petrol notes that sometime appear in Riesling. Great minerality with ocean/sea salt, some granite and fantastic acidity. Excellent finish. I wish I could have bought more.
My understanding is that this was decanted and left out for a couple of hours before the tasting. Imo the most interesting red at the tasting. Very interesting nose with candied cherries, pine needles, and red currants. There was a bit of shock when I first tasted this wine as it was signficantly lighter bodied than the nose suggested it was going to be. Good acidity with a tart finish and a hint of structure. The nose continued to improve in the glass.
Funky nose with lots of green pepper; very vegetal cab. franc. Good acidity, with some green notes I associate with the inclusion of stems. Just a tiny bit of structure and, again, a tart finish. Fuller bodied than the Domaine de la Chevalerie ``Breteche" Bourgueil that followed it and with less fruit apparent.
Very different from the Domaine de la Noblaie Chinon that preceded it in the tasting. Much more aromatic nose with more dark fruit than purely vegetal character. On the palate, still lots of pepper and great acidity with bright red fruit and, at the same time, a bit fuller bodied than the Domaine de la Noblaie. No real structure on the finish, even with a swish.

2013 Damien Laureau Savennières les petites gorgees de Damien
