Dull see through crimson with pale rim, older looking; very sour cherry and strawberry, orange peel, mushroom, sous bois; intense acid, good fat, sweet cherry, cherry liqueur; very good and holding up well.
Deep crimson with good clarity; deep rose, medicinal cherry, anise, getting to be sandalwood, mint; slight bitter finish, same flavors as nose, cedar, bitter orange; good.
Dull see through ruby; sweet strawberry, cranberry, slight watermelon candy, some rock; fatter heavier palate, tangy acid and overall disjointed initially but with some air it opened up showing a lighter disposition and overall balance; very good; let it breathe for 1-2 hours minimum.

See through dull crimson; high toned nose, cranberry, floral, sexy, slightly denser than the previous wine (Burg), sweet, strong green notes in background, tea; sweet and sour fruit on the palate, some heat, tart raspberry, cranberry, spiced tea, soft tannin, bitter notes on finish; sexy CdP; nailed it!
Deep crimson, good clarity, onion skin rim; tar, mint, roses, sandalwood, classic Barolo nose, fresh plum, some oak, good ripeness; ripe fruit continues on the palate, pure dried red cherry; solid.

Dark core with dull garnet rim; deep plum, dark cherry, plush, deep, round, polished nose, good nobility, vanilla, leather; palate is tighter than nose suggests, sour dark cherry, a good bit of tannin, floral finish; quite good but seems like it still needs more time.

Deep crimson, good clarity, orange hues in rim; ripe, Italian, nutty, dried red fruit; ripe red fruit, licorice, liqueur, rich, friendly, orange oil; tasty; prodigious.
Deep crimson with lighter rim; roses, funk, cherry, hints at sandalwood, mint, orange oil; sweeter fruit on palate, cherry, bitter note on finish, dried roses; very good.
Garnet with lighter rim; black raspberry, slight reductive, garrigue, ripe, almost fig; sweet fruit, grainy Grenache, some freshness, good nobility; wow, that didn't feel out of place in this tasting, Guigal made [a lot and] great CdR that vintage.
