Stonefruit and floral notes. Mild flavour, a bit flabby around the edges and finishes a little way short. Would want to try again to see if this is right.

2013 Eden Road Riesling Off-Dry Canberra 88 Points

Grassy, lime and apples. Phenolic element to the palate, the sweetness does show through but it is tempered by nice acid. Not bad at all.

Pear, slate and spice. Quite mineral on the palate, there is a nice line of sweet fruit that is sitting in behind. Just comes up to medium length but I think it has some improvement in it overall. Personally preferred the Maragle for now.

Toast, spice, flint and some leesy elements. Really nicely composed on the palate, has good length and the fruit has some depth and texture to it while still being restrained. Rather liked this.

Cherry, blackcurrant, tea and floral notes. Tannins are very strong, the fruit has power and length though so it is not all tannin. I'd look forward to trying this in a couple of years.

Intense aromatics - chocoalte, cherry, redcurrant, stem, spice and earth. Superb texture with layers and fantastic complexity. Very savoury, with restraint to the fruit. Love the acidity on this. Wow.

Spice, meat, lifted floral perfume, black cherry and tea leaves. Delicious on the palate, this has impeccable balance and a wonderful savoury mouthfeel. Long and detailed, this is superb even young, but patience will be of great benefit.

Floral, meat and raspberry aromas. Red fruits still drive the palate, acid and tannin are both present and give good structure. 2-3 more years would serve it well. I like that this has more red fruits over the black fruits of the 2010.
