Deep rose ruby with lighter rim, good clarity; dense rose and cherry, some sweet cherry, rhubarb, spice, stem, bubble gum; richer mouthfeel, sour cherry, spicy, cinnamon gum, more masculine on palate than nose; good.
Dark core with lighter crimson rim; rose petal, meaty cherry, some orange, leather, cabbage, richer than Sangiovese alone; soft texture, cherry, leather, ash, cabbage, lower acid, some polish, red fruit; interesting.
Opaque with dull red rim; fennel, nutty, dried leaves, aged, charcoal, stewed dark fruit with some red; sweeter palate, darker fruit, slight drying tannins; ok.
South Africa, Coastal Region, Stellenbosch, Jonkershoek Valley
Black core with bright purple rim; a hint of purple fruit, lots of green pepper, clay, whiskey barrel, screams South Africa on the nose; palate is much fresher than nose suggests, strong fruit with green notes and iodine well integrated into the wine's character; a bit strong for me but a good example.

Brighter violet core with lighter rim, good clarity; new, fresh wild berry, blood orange, perfumed, pre-graham cracker, fig, Grand Marnier, floral; sweet dense mouthfeel initially, wild berry, slight bitter finish, a little light in texture, some heat; give this some time to come together and re-evaluate.
Dark garnet with light rim, good clarity; weird nose, dirty, fish tank, leather, spice; soft palate, from somewhere warm and near the sea; not my favorite; called Greek but was on Aigiorgitiko.
Very dark core with bright purple rim; blackberry jam, new, still fermenting, leather, warm stone, fig; sweet blackberry, a bit heavy, soft tannin, dry finish; not as impressive as prior vintage.
Dark garnet core with crimson rim; red fruit, coffee, clay, vanilla, plastic, smells like screw cap, reductive; lighter body, vanilla, coffee, plum; not a big fan.
Dark core with browning rim; aged, charcoal, Worcestershire sauce, marinating meat, not much fruit; some currant, stewed, aged, past peak; I'm hoping this was not a pristine bottle.
67% Napa fruit, 33% Sonoma; dark core with bright reddish violet rim; eucalyptus, blackberry, cassis, spice, pine; good fresh cassis, more Sonoma-like in my opinion which I am starting to prefer; classic New World Cabernet; good.

Steely straw; apple, lemon, chalky limestone, slight butter, nut, tart and really delicious; medium body, tart; really good for this level.
