Dark core with purple rim; lots of dark raspberry, violets, young, deep, tart, some vanilla; cocoa, ripe but not overripe, raspberry, tart cherry, silk and no bitter, lots of clove on finish; was off on grape variety again, maybe one day this will show like N. Rhone Syrah because this was a better example than previous tastings.

Dark core with browning brick rim; nutty, mahogany, dark cherry, slight VA, red apple skin, dried leaves, deep; medicinal on the palate, softer tannin, dried leaves, tar, slight prune; very Amarone; labeled as 16.5%!; tasty stuff.
Dull ruby core with larger lake rim; beautiful nose of sweet tart cherry, ripe strawberry, light raspberry, floral, some French oak; sweet and tart red fruit on the palate, white rock, nice fat and polish- especially for Pommard, fresh, good focus; delicious, definitely drinks above its price point, should have bought more; drinking much better than previous example 1+ year ago.
