Dark core with thin garnet rim; brulee, vanilla, stewed blackberry, menthol, anise, dark and rich; palate similar to nose, rich, still good structure but I would drink this in the near-term.

See through dark crimson; sexy aromatic nose, dried red fruit, soft, elegant, floral, roses; good acid, slightly grainy tannin, dried red fruit, slight cedar; just a notch lesser than the great 2010 but still delicious.

Dark core with dull purple rim; mint, spice, fresh purple berry, cassis, plush with very good depth in the nose; slightly stewed fruit, cassis, red currant, menthol, softer more elegant profile, nice balance; delicious.

Pretty rose brick, aged; celery seed, cigar, red currant, leather, cedar, tilled earth, complex nose; soft texture, good focus, iron, red currant, cherry; good.
