Introduction
A wonderfully organized event that allowed a unique opportunity to taste a wide range of largely 2012 Burgundy. Fantastic food as well. I had a great time sampling so many great wines.

Crisp and clean. Energetic with focused acidity. Excellent Aligoté.

Not a fan of this wine. Oak showing on the nose. Light and red fruited on the palate. Very light in weight. Doesn't overachieve despite the famous producer.

Excellent wine. Pure and focused with abundant minerals on the finish. Terrific but for the huge price this is not a huge step up over the Luchets or village Meursault. Perhaps in time it will distance itself further from its more humble brothers.

Incredible! Close to perfection in a young white wine. Has all of the elements you want in a great grand cru. Nose, texture, palate complexity and finish. So much polish with a mind boggling array of flavors. Wow!

Smoking good stuff. Much more open and accessible compared to the 2011 at a similar stage. Serious depth of flavors. Massive finish with flawless texture. Insane.
