Dark garnet core, good clarity, pale maroon rim; raspberry, low toned but focused nose, some vegetal, sweet fruit, almost radish, leather, brick/cement dust, hot stones; raspberry, grip, leather, similar notes as nose; liked how this was not candied fruit, Brett was in check; called 2010 Bois de Boursan.
Deep crimson, see through core with pale red orange rim; some soy, meat, meaty cherry, leather, rusty nose; raisin, tart red fruit, orange oil, cherry and strawberry, sharp acid which should round out with air (sorry, none left to revisit), good texture, leather, rust; very good but not as good as last example; everyone on Brunello as I was, think that is due to the lack of volcanic influence.

Dark core with rusty crimson rim; caraway, brown sugar, aged, caramel, deep, softer, cherry in back; pure cherry on the palate, menthol, sandalwood, cherry, cedar, savory and rich, luxurious mouthfeel, aged and complex, cinnamon, spice, tertiary; at peak unless you have a cold cellar; called '04 Talenti BdM Riserva.
Dark core with light dull garnet rim; plum skin, some green character, olive, brine, violets, raspberry, leather, iron, nose seems to be thinning out a bit; palate shows plum, the slightest hint of vanilla, nice plushness in the middle, some sour cherry, tart and sour fruit, slight tinniness, violets, complex; I like it a lot but not as much as I did a couple years ago; everyone in Cote Rotie.
Black core with thin dull garnet rim; charcoal, blackberry, blueberry, black currant, menthol, char, hint of vanilla, big, pencil lead, green pepper; rich, tannic, touch of vanilla, still some charcoal, sweet, softer tannin, tobacco, lots of black currant; liked the drinkability even though it was larger and tannic; fooled me for Bordeaux.
