Mature black berry aromas and flavors with lots of slowly reduced mushrooms. This has a meaty character with lots of density that makes me think it will hold at this level for at least another decade, perhaps two decades.

All black fruit with background spice. Meaty and dense with lots of structure. Consistent with other bottles from the past few years, this is still backward and will benefit from more patience.

Open 3+ hours before serving, not decanted. Several consistent bottles tonight Similar to prior times I've tried this wine, this starts with lots of fruit and enticing spice, followed by intriguing textures and energy, then firm structure wallops you in the taste buds. Good now, but better in a decade.
