Intense nose with sea spray, chalk, peach and musky floral notes. Really full on the palate, this feels seamless, with superb texture and balance. So young but already delicious.

Golden colour. Pineapple, lavender, spice and honey. Palate is excellent, it is rich and fans out while still having drive and great balance. Was popped and poured and got much better with air. Idiosyncratic wine but so full of interest and character - top shelf.
Average vine age of 35 years. Tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, with peach, pear and a lovely florality amongst it all. The palate has significant richness but the acid easily cuts through and it doesn't seem nearly as sweet as the nose. Bright and really tasty.
Blind. Tar, meat, smoke and spice. Very earthy palate with some rich black fruit layered over the top. Has a little bit of alcohol heat but it is fairly mild. Nice length.

Blind. Vanilla oak, blackberry and chocolate mint. Palate has a number of issues - feels a bit flabby but at the same time shows signs of not being properly ripe. Awkward and structurally suspect.
Briar, blueberry, apricot and some stalky aromas - lots of character. Palate has an overall feeling of plushness but the briar character is there as well and I think it works well to balance the fruit and keep it interesting. Excellent length.
Floral, chalk, pineapple and apple. Acid balance is excellent, so fine, bright and precise and leaves you wanting more. The sweetness plays a secondary role to the acidity here - which is the magic of great sweet German Riesling, it's sweet but the acid gives the wine such verve. Obviously still very young but hasn't yet shut down and still shows both its immense deliciousness as well as the vast potential.
