Diesel, violet florals, honey and lemon. Still has freshness on the palate, the acidity is still punchy and it works nicely with the rounded honeyed fruit. Drink now but has held on well.
Floral, grapefruit and some assertive oak. Bold mouthfeel, it has power and good structure, with the oak less obvious. Slightly less impressive showing than I'm used to from this vineyard and maybe a result of a vintage that delivered quite a bit of fruit power, but still good.
Smoke, flint and lemon. I like the restrained nature of the palate, the balance is good with a light oak profile and austere fruit. Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Blind. Pretty white florals, pineapple, lemon and some grass. Clean on the palate, with decent acidity holding it all up. Has a little charm to it, though it isn't very deep at the moment. Pleasant.
Apricot, ash, mandarin and peach. The palate is more restrained than the nose, it does show some fruit but it feels more pure than rich. Mid length and a nicely clean finish.
Blind. Grape, floral and strong peach - reminiscent of Moscato. Pretty on the palate initially, there is a little bitterness towards the end that isn't too bad - some residual sugar with this would lift it a notch I think.
Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River
Open for 24 hours. Tar, ash, ripe berries and cherry plus some earth. Plenty of plush red fruits on the palate, has an ash element to it as well. Good wine and 4-5 years development would serve it well.
Blind. Raspberry, strawberry, garrigue, spice and graphite. Good mouthfeel, with plenty of tannins at this point. Savoury fruits give it nice character and a light stalk streak provides additional interest. A very very nice wine.

Chocolate, ash, mint and blackberry. A little sweet and sour element to the palate that I don't mind. Fruit flavour coats the palate. Good structure but I think it is ready to drink as it is sitting in a good place. A wine comfortable in its intent.
Australia, Victoria, Western Victoria, Great Western
Menthol, olive, blackberry and spice. Very youthful palate, shows plenty of sweet fruit but there is an overarching structure that keeps it all in line. Give it more time.
Pear, apple, pine and slate. Fresh, light bodied, clean and fine. Not too much depth to it but I like the style for easy drinking. Got a bit less interesting as the glass went on.
Blind. Menthol, raspberry, musk and a light earthy element. Tannins and acid are both quite bold here, coating the mouth equally. Definitely in the leaner style of things, so not a big surprise when revealed. Interesting but not something to chase all the time.
Blind. Some matchstick, blackcurrant, spice, cedar and cherry. Tannins are standing out at the moment, the restrained fruit is laying low and needs to come up a notch to balance out. Does have good length and I think this wine is about potential now rather than immediate enjoyment.
Oxidative, with nutty, caramel and ginger notes. Fresh acidity on the palate, the fruit is clean and it feels a bit on the simple side of things. Good, but not awesome, lacking a little in excitement.
