2009 fruit, disgorged October 2011. Strawberry, grapefruit, lime and earth aromas. The lack of dosage is evident, with a dry but very fine and driven palate. Really nice to drink and relax with.
Lemon, chalk, florals and a bit of spice. Very good richness along with powerful acidity that keeps up and gives the wine good flow. Powerful but has class about it.

Attendee brought two bottles in case of premox but fortunately only one was required as this was in excellent shape. Orange, floral, peach and musk. Good body to it with plenty of freshenss and texture. Excellent length. Extremely enjoyable to drink and the second bottle was under serious threat of getting opened as it would have been very welcome!
Served blind. Ruby coloured. Cherry, rhubarb, strawberry and spice. Lovely mouthfeel, the flavour profile does show red fruits but they are moderate in density and it feels nicely restrained by the very good structure. Obviously very good and not a surprise when the producer is revealed.
From the Heimbourg de Turckheim vineyard. Extremely concentrated and deep aromas leap out of the glass and show turkish delight, lychee, peach, slate, orange peel and apricot. The palate exhibits concentration but it has great purpose and length. Stains the palate with flavour, but there is amazingly an element of refreshment thanks to super acidity. Really impressive.
