Introduction
The Madeira Wine Institute presented the masterclass which was guided by Natasha Hughes MW and included the theory – learning about the history, terroir and grape varieties of Madeira – as well as a practical wine tasting.

Nose: The nose is Clean and Fully Developed, showing Medium(+) intensity aromas of orange peel, almond, nutty, caramel, toffee, coffee, fig, honey.
Palate: The wine is Medium Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has a High Level of alcohol (19.00%) for a fortified wine. It has Medium(+) body and Medium intensity flavours of orange peel, caramel, toffee, coffee, almond, fig, nutty, honey. The finish is Medium(+). High refreshing acidity.
Overall: Good length, intensity and complexity. Good balance between sweetness and acidity.
Conclusion: It is a Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing Will not improve with ageing.; High priced (£12.95)
