1st bottle PnP. Quite fruity, honeyed as well as farmyard (!) notes, wax, brioche and herbs come forward with air. Fresh on the palate, but the accidity is not entirely precise - some pickle notes as well. Overall very good.

2nd bottle opened 24h in advance, double decanted 1h before. Steely and closed, some lanolin, but overall quite hard and reticent. With time in the glass it developped a very pleasant bouquet of cotton candy. For 1998 I believe that long decant didn't work, the freshly opened bottle was more open, while the 2nd day bottle was closed/tired.

Here again we see farmyard, milky notes as well as pronounced lanolin, orange and tangerine rind, caramel, very concentrated, multilayered, roasted nuts, citrus. Still young, very high, but well balanced accidity, even better potential.

From pre-biodynamic days. Very light colour for the age, actually may be even lighter than bottles from late 80s and 90s. Mango, exotic fruits on the nose, which is not very expressive, didn't feel any botrytis either. Accidity from pickle, probably used a lot of SO2 to preserve the wine in this condition. The most surprising about this wine is its freshness, but the wine seemed somehow soulless.

From pre-biodynamic days. Light colour for the age. Nose initially a bit chemical, not entirely clean, hay, herbal notes, milky, gasoline, reductive. With time some honey appears. Palate quite nice, citrusy, some tartiness. It is fresh, but I didn't find enough complexity for the age.

Golden hue. Milky-buttery nose, white truffles as well. There are two different lawyers to this wine, one tart citrus-grapefruit, another buttery. Not that well balanced.

Amber golden colour. Initially starts off with cheese and plasticine which later morphs into brioche, apple, herbal tea. Very intense, superbly balanced, perfect mouthfeel, taste just never ends, superb finish, pleasant bitterness to it. Sensational texture, excellent! WOTN for me.

Almost orange. An evident change in style here, lots of VA, pronounced apple juice, apple puree, acacia. Very high accidity, almost pungent, orange wine style, also high alcohol. This would benefit from a decant.

The darkest of them all. Intense nose of apple juice, cider, burnt sugar. Some pickle on the palate, some sweet roastiness, oxidative background. With time some botrytis develop. Resembles an orange wine, to me it is not what CdS is about.

A bio-dynamic, non-filtered, no SO2 Chenin-blanc from Spain fits well in this CdS vertical. Golden, non-clear colour. Pronounced chicken broth nose that didn't offer much more than that. On the palate oxidative roasted notes, lees? Tannins evident. Peculiar and interesting, but certainly requires some food.
