Slate, herbal spice, orange peel on the nose. Feels like it has a couple of grams of residual sugar and there is good texture and interest to it. Really nice at its level.

Lime, light musk perfume. Touch of sweetness on the palate, the balance is handled well with plenty of the young Hunter Valley Semillon typical acidity. Nice length.

7% botrytis fruit in 2011. Apple, pear, sea spray, orange peel and a touch of oxidative character - plenty of interest and complexity on the nose. Round on the palate but has excellent drive and feels balanced. There is some alcohol that is present but it doesn't detract for me. Fantastic wine.
