Oak, herb, licorice, pear, apple, violet and stronefruit - just kept shifting and lifting with more time in the glass. Weighty and viscous on the palate, the richness and slightly tropical fruit definitely assert themselves but there is good acidity and a light Alsace styled bitterness on the backpalate that I really enjoyed. So much interest, the last sip was definitely the best.
