Pale gold in color. Nice fine bubbles. Some vanilla/spicy on the nose it seemed. Great acidity and bubbles that are silky in your mouth. Very smooth and very dry. Nice clean finish. This seemed slightly 1D on the nose, but I didn't sit with it long enough to see it evolve. On the palate, it was wonderful. I would love to try this again, and sit with it for a while.
Also pale gold/straw in color. On the nose with a touch more richness than the previous wine. Something very minerally/earthy on the nose. Coarser bubbles and mousse with some sharper acidity than the Launois. Somewhat tart on the finish.
Very pale straw in color. Richer still than the Marguet and Launois that preceded it. Citrus on the nose and some nutty notes. Soft, fluffy mousse. Hint of tang on the finish, which is refreshing but shows a litle pepper/heat.

Bubbles seem less bold than the NV so this comes off as a lot more elegant. Clean finish leaving some slate notes. All that said, this still came off a little young. I think it would be really nice to see this in a while...
Pale straw in color. A little muted on the nose to start, this opened up showing more fruit to me than the previous wines...some melon and a hint of wet stone minerality. Very bold acidity and rich mousse which made this lots of fun. Easy to drink, but didn't seem as elegant as the 04 Paillard tha preceded it.
Very different from the wines that preceded it. Pale straw in color. A lot of fruit on the nose. The mousse was very thick and rich. Fine bubbles, but there are just so many. This was seemed rather heavily carbonated. Softer acidity than the previous two wines, but I just got overwhelmed by the bubbles.

Pale salmon in color. Maybe my favorite wine at the tasting. Great minerality that suggests a really crisp rose, but a nice mix of richness to lighten things up a bit. Very elegant, with nothing overpowering. Soft on the palate, very crisp acidity, a hint of grapefruit pith on the very refreshing finish.
Serious rose in color. Dark and yeasty on the nose (maybe the richest of the wines today). I got the last glass from this bottle, so it was probably open a bit. On the palate, this had good acidity, but it confused me, since I thought it tasted more like a slightly effervescent rose than a champagne. This may have started out similar to the other Drappier Champagnes (with really intense bubbles), but apparently they start out strong and fade away. Good fruit on the palate, and even though this was Brut, something tasted a little sweet.
Like the previous wine, this was closer to a slightly effervescent (but very good) white Burgundy than to what I expected from a Champagne, and I think that distracted me. I guess I didn't even realize this was a style of Champagne (and this was from a freshly opened bottle). Intensely flavored on the palate, with cinnamon spiced apple, good creaminess and a hint of nuttiness on the palate. Almost no mousse. I guess I just didn't ``get" this wine.

NV Drappier Champagne Brut Rosé

On the palate, this had good acidity, but it confused me, since I thought it tasted more like a slightly effervescent rose than a champagne. 2002 Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne Brut Cuvée Palmes d'Or
