Prefered the 2012, fruit in the nose was turning due to age, reminded me of prunes which I know I should be open to but is a turn off for me in a wine. Starts out fruity but ends dry. Highest % of merlot out of any vintage made and contains some petit verdot

60% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot, 20% from old vines. Literally grabs a hold of your tongue, Lots of tannins, smell of dirt a tad bitter completely different than the previous two reds from Pessac-Leognan
