#00006 tasted blind nose - light strawberry, earth, with time blackberry mouth - earthy and dirty fruit, complicated by asparagus stalks as jim put it, revealing a vegetal stemmed quality that some even found loire in character, but at the same time grippy and vibrant, with great acidity, showing funk that got more serious with air. complex and memorable but not great and certainly not worth the asking price. nose - dark berry, brooding mouth - big wine though somewhat closed, lots of stuffing here but not really showing that much today. Hints of dark licorice. Angular per Jim. Big dry tannins. A beast. Blah . Needs 10+ years, but no guarantees
nose - cinnamon, clove, smoky enchanting barrel type nose mouth - broad mouthcoating dark berry fruit, voluptuous yet clean, delicious, concentrated, and showy. Lots of dry extract. hints of cherry cola per chris. Sexy.

nose - initially mute but with time red fruit, hints of meat, earthy. nice nose mouth - fresh cherry, very clean and pure almost to the point of being mistaken as boring, but in the end appreciated for its purity. surprising tannic kick at finish
