Tight grip, quite acidic, medium body, not much fruit. I'm underwhelmed by what should have been a stunner from JD from 80 year old vines. (this is the Signature Series Chenin). Brought by Lis A.
Very dark red/blue colour for a rose, could be a pale red. Good tangy juicy strawberry flavours, very gulpable, Exceeds expectations. Brought by Warren

Intensely dark, sweet scented nose, but acidic front palate, theres oak but it is lacking fruit. I think it is way too old. Brought by Bob C (who agrees it is too old)
Sweet fruit, but it just fades in theglass, theres some blackberry, but it is light and watery. This is a single vineyard made by Ravenswood and it doesn't taste like it. Most disappointing

Good body, not acidc, indeed feels slightly off-dry. Some grass, some oomph, new world style.

Stains glass, some tangy flavours over strong tannins; bit sharp on a hot finish. Tannins rather overwhelm. Brought by Ian Mc.
