opened, decanted (probably shouldn't have) and served. wonderful classic sweet nose, maybe more left bank than one would expect. first pour drank beautifully but slowly fading after an hour or so.
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
ex chateau bottle. in decanter for an hour (although not necessary). light brick colour. lovely nose of autumn leaves and sweet earth. a little tired on the palate not surprisingly. still, one of the most memorable wines in recent MNSCs - thank you Curry!
3hrs in decanter. more accessible than previous bottles but still dark and brooding. massive structure. can see its potential but not my style of wine right now.

Decanted for 30mins. gorgeous aromas that's unmistakable Lafleur. still very robust. an absolute revelation!
