2 San Sakana Fish Beached in Boston

Bettina and Peter from San Sakana Cellars were kind enough to join my wife and I at Troquet in Boston for some great wines, great food and conversation. They brought their two Viogniers (Catie's Corner from the RRV and Broken Leg from Anderson Valley) and two Syrahs, whose notes follow. A 1998 Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque started the evening off on the right note and a 2004 Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir provided a nice interlude between the whites and the more serious reds.
