I believe my last note was spot-on. This seems a little bitter initially and that subsides with time. There is some nice yeast and acidity. Slight champagne character. A step up from the NV blanc de noir.
A small pour at a tasting. I'm not a huge fan of sauvignon blanc, but this is not a cat pee / grapefruit bomb. It has an interesting nose of tropical fruit. The palate is lighter, with citrus and sour apple. Clean and zesty.
A small pour at a tasting. Slight creaminess and golden fruit makes me think of chardonnay. Unfortunately, the taste is a boozy cheap white wine flavor. Hard to enjoy this.
Slow o'd for about 3 hours. This took 15-30 minutes in glass to come around. Initially, painfully dry. Then, tons of character emerges. This is all over the map, and always changing. Fruit runs the whole gamut of red/blue/purple/black. Olive, smoke, meat and a touch of vanilla on the palate. Really enjoyable and amazing for the price.

A small pour at a tasting. There is a lot of interesting fruit on the nose. Good acid -- this is nice for a pinot gris. Easy to drink.

A small pour at a tasting. Nice enough. Fluffy and spicy. Slightly rich mouthfeel. A true porch pounder.

A small pour at a tasting, and dumped most of it. Not that complex or good. Light palate, but manages to taste alcoholic at the same time. Meh....
