  In the bouquet soft citrus. On the palate pineapple and a lot of lemon end grapefruit acidity. Clean wine.

  In the not so very expressive bouquet some fennel, anise and white fruits. On the palate white fruits a bit buttery, firm but good citrus acidity and some length.

• 2013 Vignaioli Contrà Soarda Vespaiolo Breganze Vigna Silan 87 Points

  Italy, Veneto, Breganze

  The bouquet is a bit locked but shows some grasses and white fruits. On the palate a sweet start with ripe pineapple, some pleasant acidity, green apple and soft citrus. Good balance between acidity and sweetness.

  Compared to the 2013 there are more ripe yellow and tropical fruits in the bouquet. On the palate herbs and grasses, pineapple, some honey, minerals and fairly full bodied. Good acidity. Ok wine.

  Red berries and cherries in the bouquet. On the palate red berries, some minerals, some herbs, medium + acidity and slightly sticky tannin. A bit thin and a short finish. Clean wine though.

  In the bouquet red berries and cherries, mature, some perfume and rustic as well. On the palate red and dark berries, green herbs, bell pepper ok acidity and slightly sticky and drying tannin. Mature wine; no real hurry.
